The 2024 WDBF Dodgeball World Championships will be hosted in Graz, Austria, from the 11th-17th August. This will be the largest international dodgeball competition in the history of the sport. Registration is still currently open to nations, and can be found HERE. The event will be hosted by Dodgeball Austria with the World Dodgeball Federation. EDF, as a member of WDBF, will provide support for the event where appropriate.
This event will be streamed. Details on where to watch the event and when will be shared by WDBF and EDF ahead of the event, and will be updated on this page as well as our social media platforms. Divisions
The 2024 Dodgeball World Championships have 6 different divisions: Cloth Men, Cloth Women, Cloth Mixed, Foam Men, Foam Women, Foam Mixed. All 6 competitions will count towards World Ranking points in the WDBF rankings table (they will not impact EDF rankings, as these only use results from European Championships).
All divisions will be played simultaneously, beginning on Sunday August 11th with the Opening Ceremony, and ending on August 17th with the 6 finals. All divisions will have a group-phase and knockout-phase, ensuring that a full ranking list can be compiled following the end of the competition.
Venue
The 2024 Dodgeball World Championships will be a multi-venue event. Due to the record-number of participating teams the event will take place in 2 different venues within the city of Graz. The venues will not be divided entirely by ball type; the schedule determining which matches are played in which venue will be confirmed closer to the time. Suggested accommodation can be found here.
